Our annual 'Plein Air' or outside sketching & painting day. We start the day as a group recapping mark making to make sketching more easy and fun, before heading out on the front in Teignmouth. We will also discuss protocols for fuss free outside work.

 You can make lots of sketches or focus on one scene to paint with colleagues nearby and Liana on handfor tips. Many of us would like to work more outdoors but it can be daunting, the protocols help us plan for and avoid challenges and the group setting gives us a pleasant amongst like minded colleagues.

 Should the weather gods let us down we shall repair indoors at the Pavilions and continue from photographs and our sketches. Please read the particular materials notes about packing for convinience and personal safety.

Please book as early as possible to help us plan for you. Please refer to the materials list here in good time to prepare.

Or complete beginners can purchase/borrow a basic kit for £5.00 cash on the day. Please book the kit at least 2 days before with the box office.

Liana's courses are known for their fun & friendly atmosphere, packed with tips and good value! All students are invited to join Liana's artist circle.
