Beginner's French
Mondays 3pm to 4pm
Starts Monday 12 May 3pm
6 week course ( no lesson on the 26th of May)
£60 for the course.
A course for complete beginners or for those who know a little Italian. We will be using the BBC publication Talk French 1, which can be ordered online in a boxed set with cds.
We will be covering topics such as : introducing yourself and others, giving information about yourself, ordering in a bar and asking where places are in a town etc.

Improver's French
Tusedays 1.45pm to 2.45pm
Starts Tuesday 13 May 1.45pm
A 6 week course
£60 for the course.
We will be using the Palgrave publication "Breakthrough French 2" which can be ordered online. We will be covering a range of topics such as dealing with your car breaking down, reporting lost property, finding out about Toulouse, including practising reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and relevant grammar exercises.

Intermediate French
Wednesdays 10.15am to 11.15am
Starts Wednesday 14 May 10.15am
6 week course (no class on the 28th of May)
£60 for the course.
We will be using the Palgrave publication" Breakthrough French 3" which can be ordered online. We will be covering topics such as noise pollution, renting a car,finding out about French tv channels etc. Students will get practice in reading, writing, speaking and listening and will get practice in using a range of grammar including the conditional and subjunctive verb tenses.
