Drumming Workshop - Afrobeat Event Information page

Based on the Nigerian music of Fella Kuti and Tony Allen, this workshop will have you playing a range of instruments, including djembes, dun dun bass drums, bells and shakers, to create a funky, energising groove to uplift your day. This is truly a multicultural fusion of traditional Nigerian drumming and American funk.

No experience necessary! Starting from scratch, you will learn basic fundamental techniques which will have you grooving in no time.Expect BIG Beats, Big Breaks and most of all Big smiles!

2 hour session for adults -  11am to 1pm
