Taste of Taiko Workshop with Taiko South West Event Information page

 

In this workshop participants will learn a bit about the history and background of Taiko drumming, the basics & fundamentals of how to play the drums and culminate in participants learning a fun Taiko piece to play altogether by the end of the workshop.

 

Places are limited so please book in advance. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, or those who've played a bit of taiko before. 18yrs +.

 

Workshop runs Saturday 26th April 3pm to 5pm

 

Information for participants:

• Taiko is physical so please wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring a bottle of water with you.
• Taiko is loud, but not dangerously loud however if you do have sensitive hearing please do bring ear plugs if you think you’ll need them.
• Taiko South West look forward to seeing you all on Saturday afternoon.
