Samba Drumming

Ever fancied joining a samba band? Come and discover the wonderful world of Brazilian Rhythm. If you enjoy this session, then you could always come and join our Drum Devon marching band! Playing on a range of instruments, including snares, congas, surdos, bells and shakers, we’ll put together an infectious Brazilian carnival groove complete with breaks, intros and improvisation. No experience necessary! Starting from scratch, you will learn basic fundamental techniques which will have you grooving in no time. The previous session was so much fun, by the end we had managed to create a lively marching samba band! All workshops come with access to digital resources and a recording of our final piece. Big beats, Big breaks and lots of laughs. Come and have some fun with us!

Please note there is a booking fee per transaction - £1 online or by telephone, 50p in person at the Box Office.
