Lolo Drumming Event Information page

Come and learn to play a traditional West African Djembe rhythm - ‘Lolo’ - A rhythm from Guinean master drummer, Famoudou Konaté. This rhythm has an infectious groove and energising breaks.  

No experience necessary! Starting from scratch, you will learn basic fundamental techniques which will have you grooving in no time.

As a group, we will create a polyrhythmic montage of sound using a range of instruments including djembes, dun dun bass drums, bells and shakers.

Expect BIG Beats, Big Breaks and most of all Big smiles!

2 hour session for adults -  11am to 1pm

£15.00 or £12.50 when you book three separate Drum Devon Adult classes on one transaction.
