Timeless Classics featuring the music of Glenn Miller.
The highly acclaimed big band, led by MD Ken Parr, makes a welcome return to the Pavilions for another swinging summer evening entertainment. Remarkably, the seventeen piece band is celebrating it's fortieth year of performing across the West Country and beyond. Following it's formation in 1983, the band rapidly built an enthusiastic following in the West. In 1985 it was chosen to play the role of the Glenn Miller Orchestra in 'Little Brown Jug' at the Northcott Theatre, Exeter.
Whilst the Teignmouth concert will feature the evergreen arrangements and songs from the Miller orchestra, the packed two set programme will include other swing and jazz classics from the golden age of the big bands.
An outstanding musical event not to be missed.
