Italian Classes – All 6-Week Courses

Italian Improvers 1

Mondays from 4th March to 15th April (no class 1st April)

1.45pm to 2.45pm

We will be using the BBC Talk Italian 2 coursebook which can be purchased online in a boxed set with CDs

We will cover topics such as shopping for clothes, expressing your opinion, making comparisons, asking the way + following directions,
reporting a problem and talking about holiday plans and about previous holidays using the past tense.

Italian Beginners

Mondays from 4th March to 15th April (no class 1st April)

3.00pm to 4.00pm

We will be using the BBC publication Talk Italian 1, which can be ordered online in a boxed set with CDs and we will be covering topics such as: talking about where you live and work, understanding what there is in a town, making enquiries + understanding directions, asking for items in a shop and shopping for food at the market.

Italian Improvers 2

Wednesdays from 6th March to 17th April (no class 3rd April)

11.30am to 12.30pm


We will be using the Take Off In Italian boxed set which can be bought online in a boxed set with CDs.

We will be covering topics such as buying clothes, using the comparative and superlative to compare different items,( colour, size, material etc), how to make a complaint, enquiring about something on the menu etc.

Students will get practice in using the past tense, prepositions etc.
