10th February - Intro To West African Djembe Rhythms

Come and learn to play a traditional West African Djembe rhythm. No experience necessary! Starting from scratch, you will learn basic fundamental techniques which will have you grooving in no time. As a group, we will create a polyrhythmic montage of sound using a range of instruments including djembes, dun dun bass drums, bells and shakers. Expect BIG Beats, Big Breaks and most of all Big smiles!

£15.00 per workshop or £12.50 if you book 3 classes in one transaction.  Booking fee per transaction - £1 on internet and telephone bookings or 50p at the Box Office.
